Agatha Christie Day - Murder Mystery

Saturday 7th September.

During the afternoon help us unmask a dangerous spy. We need your help as there have valuable secrets stolen and we need to identify the person responsible. This event is aimed at families, and you will need to spend about 30 minutes before your train departs to gather the clues that you will then be able to solve and, in conjunction with further information on the train, unmask the spy. This applies to the 2.00pm (so arrive no later than 1.30pm) and 3.30pm (so arrive no later than 3.00pm) trains ONLY. To enter into this puzzling event buy regular tickets plus the £5 entry fee for each family.

In the evening we will be running a Murder/Mystery event run in conjunction with 'Dead Herring'. Arrive by 7pm and enjoy a glass of Prosecco (or orange juice) and learn how the evening will progress. On the train we will serve Quiche (vegetarian option available) and salad and you will be provided with some clues and have the opportunity to question some of those involved. You will need your mobile phone with you and it needs the ability to read QR codes (we will have some paper copies available if required). We will make two return trips between Wallingford and Cholsey and so you will get the opportunity to question the suspects both on the train and whilst we are at the station. The evenings events will be set in the 1930s or 1940s so why not come along in period dress and join in with the fun.

Please make sure you choose which type of quiche you would like; you can also pre-order wine or beer to ensure we have what you require but we will have a bar open on the train. The event will finish about 10pm after an analysis of the evenings events and the announcement of the winning group(s).
